Dr. Dirk Beyer:
Dr. Beyer is a 1996 graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry. He completed undergraduate work at Carroll College as well as the University of Montana. He served as chief Optometric Officer at the Chippewa Cree Clinic located on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation. In addition, he practiced at his downtown office in Havre. Dr. Beyer purchased Big Sky Eye Care Clinic and Optical in January 2000.
He is therapeutically certified optometrist. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Montana Optometric Association. Dr. Beyer is an active member of the Hamilton Lions and Kiwanis Clubs and the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is the 2008/2009 Vice President for the Montana Optometric Association and the 2008/2009 President for the Hamilton Lions Club. He is the chairperson for the Lions Club Ski Bus Program and Sight Committee. Dr. Beyer Received the Young Optometrist of the Year Award presented by the Montana Optometric Association in 2004 for his hard work and dedication to optometry, his patients, community and family.
